Out of the park!! We started with a rear electric gate that was on an incline and had to be modified, so it was level when closed. It was dead on. I also picked a small profile gate motor with the help of Sam (owner) allowing to have maximum parking, as I have two trucks I park in the rear. I then had a front entry gate custom made. I had it powdered coated which, made the gate a little expensive but, it is drop dead gorgeous. They pre fitted the unit to minimize scratching before having it powder coated. What impressed me was that Sam called me in the middle to tell me he was starting my door over because, he was not impressed with how the gate had been constructed and had to replace the individual that had done the original attempt. It was worth the extra wait, as I I am very particular. I made a prior attempt several years ago to have this gate created that supposedly the top semi circle potion was imported from England. However, they brought the gate out laying on a flat bed truck and the paint was scratched all over and I observed hair and dust lumps in the paint . I stopped them at that point and told the owner to take it back and to have it sandblasted and powder coated and he refused. I had told him up front that I am very particular and this was to be my front entry gate and it had to look perfect . So I did not get my gate at that time. Great Job, Sam
Fast, efficient, knowledgeable and reasonable. What else could you ask for in a welder? I had a broken fence and getting anyone out to even take a look was becoming a chore... However, not here, these fine gentlemen are the best. They fixed my fence, a tad expensive but industry standards justify the price. Got the job done quick and easy. It's been 3 weeks now and the welds are holding strong. Thanks guys.
Sam is very helpful and efficient in detecting the issues of the garage door and helped us put in new installation within the day. He also helped us to pair to key program for the car. Will definitely go with them for other properties if any repairs or replacements are needed.

I'm going to give Sam 5 stars for our gate installation. He kept to his dates (for quote and installation), and his representative did a thorough job installing the electric motor. Sam was also prompt to return my phone call when we had a question about the gate opener; he spoke to me professionally and I appreciate that. Had an issue with my gate opener and called these guys. Sam came out, was here early and had it all figured out and fixed within minutes. He re-adjusted the gate and gave me a great run down of what was wrong with it. Super happy and would not hesitate to call them again.
Sam was very thorough in his investigation of the problem with our garage motor. After ruling out every other problem, he explained in detail our 3 options to fix the issue. Sam is one of the most professional and reliable contractors we've ever worked with. He installed two security gates and removed a third for us for a very reasonable fee on a quick turnaround and with excellent results both aesthetic and in terms of functionality. He showed up when he said he would and did the job exactly as he promised. We will call him again for sure.

Last week I decided that my iron gate really needed repair. My wife couldn't open it! How do you find gate repair in 2017? I looked in Yelp and found Sam and Capital Garage Door & Gate Repair. I called him. He came out the next day. He gave me a price which I agreed to and the NEXT day his worker came over to do the work. He cut off the old hinge, welded on new hinges, set the door to lock, and even spray painted the weld!! An hour!! It's perfect. In 2017 where can you find real workers and real work? Well, Capital and Sam is one place. I fully recommend this company!!! Hey, even my wife is satisfied!! Now that is a real recommendation. Thank You Sam!!
I was in need of a custom driveway gate and fence. After looking around on Yelp for a few reviews, I contacted Capital Garage Door through Yelp. Sam hit me back right away and we discussed what my needs were for a fence and gate. I referred to other images of gates they had done that were posted on Yelp. Sam came down and took measurements a few days later and we settled on a fair price. They fabricated at the shop and a few weeks later they came back and installed it all within 1 day. Sam is a friendly helpful guy who's team does quality work. I had a backyard side gate for our dog run installed and had an amazing experience with this company. Professional and timely and they were kind enough to come out twice to take measurements when we decided to change the original plan and gate location. The gate looks great and I would highly recommend them. The work was completed in the Hollywood Hills.
